Employment rate for polytechnic grads dips marginally in 2014

Through the news and survey done; the employment rate had drop throughout the year in 2014 compared to 2013 and 2012. However, post-NS graduates and fresh graduates from polytechnics drop by a few percentage due to salary was given. Health Sciences, Hybrid Courses grads have higher salaries. 

I feel that base on the survey was done, it's true. However, going out to work in the industry is all base on certs that oneself have but on another hand is base on experience. If without experience, grads will have least chance of getting employ will be lower.

AirAsia QZ8501

Through news video, press conferences, articles; we know that in 28 Dec 2014 QZ8501 went missing and search was carried around Java Sea. After 7 days only they found out the parts of plane on the sea and confirmed it as a crashed. On 8 day bodies then were found floating. Until today it's day 16 they are still trying very hard to search the others that was on board. After this incident, I may not take Airasia again. However, I believe it's fated when it comes to this kind of situation, we can't predict what's going happen the next day. Prayers of the victim will be in our prayers.

Protest in Hong Kong

Through news from television, newspapers, online articles, we know that there's a protest going on in Hong Kong since September 2014. Protesters began to gather around the business district area and this may or may not affect the tourists that were around the event. However, a lot of businesses regardless small or big.
